MeditationMeditation is not easy. This 15 minute practice is guided, focusing on the breath. Becoming aware of your breath aides and allows you to quiet the mind. This mindfulness technique is excellent in beginning and maintaining a practice.
You must be able to move up and down from the floor with relative ease. |
Easy Realignment
If you’ve never attended a movement class, this is where to start. If you suffer from pain and discomfort, or simply want to try movement, this is the class for you. The movements allow you to move slowly and only within your range without pain, with the help of props, learning that too much is not always best.
A good place to start. You must be able to move up and down from the floor with relative ease. |
Core & Pelvic Health
The Core & Pelvic Floor classes offer a whole body approach to strength core muscles, bring pelvic floor muscles back to function and ease lower back pain. The class combines movement and biomechanics. Each class includes breath work, corrective exercises and movement. The Core & Pelvic Health class is designed for anyone with movement class experience. Easy Core & Pelvic Health is designed for those with little or no movement class experience or problems with knees, hips or lower back issues. Modifications and props will be offered to get as much benefit as the 5:30 class. You must be able to move up and down from the floor with relative ease. |

Tuesday's & Wednesday's Tuesday's & Wednesday's
September to Mid October 5:30 to 6:30 Cost is $10 Since the weather provides us with a wait and see approach that can be up to the hour before, two evenings will give us the opportunity like it did last week. If the weather is nice, we'll practice both nights. If it turns out like last week, if Tuesday is cancelled we still have Wednesday. And, if both evenings don't turn out, we move on to the next week. Cancellations will be posted about one hour prior, 4:30 PM on Facebook and at the top of this page. There's lots of room in the park for everyone. You can check the weather and your calendar and see what evening you'd come to come. The only think I ask is that you please register by email clicking here up to an hour before, so I have an idea who's coming. Cost per class is $10. Please do not pay till shortly before or at class. Payment can be made by Etransfer or cash. Classes will take place at "High Noon Optimist Park" on Park Avenue. Cross your fingers, the weather will be nice this week. Hope to see you at the park.
